This Save Relies On Content That Is No Longer Present

Just to clarify, you are in fact using the same Xbox you have purchased it from right?

If not, try doing a licence transfer to that console and then redownloading the dlc from the marketplace. Don't get rid of the dlc just redownoad it as this will update it's licence and store it on your console.

Also, if you don't want to bother with that, if you sign in to Xbox Live while you are playing, you shouldn't have any problem (as long as the profile who purchased the dlc is online).

Inactive profile

I purchased this down load on a friends system and then when I got home I signed into my own on-line profile at my house played the game on-line talking to friends and got so far on the island of Solstheim, later that day I desided to move my Xbox to another T.V. in the same house just this time I was not able to connect to the internet because I do not have a Wi-Fi adapter in my Xbox and could not run a ethernet cable to the room I was in so I was just going to play off-line.  When I started up my Xbox and started the game Skyrim I was not able to continue to my last saved game that I had on the hard drive. It came up with the message "This save relies on content that is no longer present. Some objects may no longer be availble. Continue loading?"

As CISphil has suggested, try redownloading the dlc if you can, as it appears to have gotten its knickers in a twist. When you redownload go via your download history and not the marketplace.

Hi C4N

It really is just because you are not online I had this problem with Fallout 3, if you don't have the licenses and play the console offline it won't load the DLC you can still play it but anything you have collected from the DLC will be missing and I cannot tell you  if it will come back when you load the game again online (sorry) because I was not too noligble then on xbox so I just deleted the old save and started again lol, but if you do a license transfer you should have no problems at all playing offline in the future.

Hope this Helps

Thanks

Sorry meant to add when you transfer License make sure you redownlaod the dlc don't delete just redownload it will take 2 secs as it just downloads the new license to the console :D

When you downloaded DLC, there are 2 licenses that are associated with them.  One goes to the console on which the content was downloaded (this would be your friends console).  The other ties that dlc to your account.  You will be able to play that dlc anywhere that you are able to sign in to Xbox Live with your account.  If you are not connecting to Live then you will not be able to use that DLC unless you transfer the license to your console.
